Jornada Jurec (Zárate - Campana) Panel: "La importancia del uso de las herramientas de las nuevas tecnologías dentro del aula."

En la Jornada de Capacitación Docente de la Jurec de la Diócesis de Zárate - Campana, tuve la oportunidad de participar en el panel "El vínculo docente-alumno en el siglo XXI , cambios y desafíos" con Juan M. Segura. Comparto aquí mis apuntes y notas.  La tecnología forma parte de nuestra vida, ha irrumpido en lo cotidiano y la escuela no puede mantenerse ajena a esto. Es imposible imaginar una educación de calidad que prepare a nuestros alumnos para el siglo XXI, sin incorporar las herramientas que la tecnología ofrece hoy. Por otro lado, creo que hace tiempo que como docentes, nos preocupa cómo viven nuestros alumnos su tiempo dentro del aula, los vemos  desinteresados, apáticos. Creo que la principal razón es que nuestros alumnos no ven cómo se relaciona lo que sucede en el aula, las temáticas que deben aprender, poco tienen que ver con lo que importa en el mundo laboral o universitario. If we don’t pay attention to what teachers feel and go through, technology will fill in classrooms but we won’t be able to make the most of them and all the possibilities they can offer. It is the teaching not the technology we need to focus on. Even more, positive teacher attitudes towards computing are critical if computers are to be effectively integrated into classroom settings (1).
